Rheinmetall Defence | System Panzergrenadier (Digitalized Combat Troops)

Rheinmetall is currently delivering the System Panzergrenadier (Digitalized Combat Troops) to the German Bundeswehr, which will support the lead role of Germany during VJTF 2023. The System Panzergrenadier is a fully networked battle system with the core elements IFV PUMA, IdZ-ES VJTF (German Soldier System for VJTF) and the Tactical Management System TacNet. It provides an overall integration and interoperability of dismounted soldiers into the IFV PUMA with its communication devices, sight systems and weapon stations. Rheinmetall has created a real system-of-systems solution for the German Armored Infantry. The Soldier System IdZ-ES VJTF (also known as Rheinmetall GLADIUS 2.0) is currently the benchmark for a sophisticated holistic Soldier System approach. More than 130 Subcomponents from over 30 partners are integrated and managed by Rheinmetall. With System Panzergrenadier, the German Bundeswehr is ready for the upcoming challenges of the digitized battlefield.
