“I’ve a Way of Knowing“ - Sons of Thunder featuring Joan Hettenhouser Tinsley 1968
Here is one of the earliest live recordings I have of Sons of Thunder. SOT’s “Original Five“ features Joan Hettenhouser Tinsley beautifully singing “I’ve a Way of Knowing,“ which she also wrote. From a performance at the Forum Tea House and Gallery in Georgetown in the summer of 1968. Joan also plays acoustic guitar on this song, and other players are Robin Woodhams Castaldi, bass; Donna Gadling Walters, organ; Don Williamson, drums; and me, lead guitar.
