My follow-up song to Glenn & Chris’s, top ten hit, “Diamond Lights“ had all the makings of another big hit, but unfortunately, Glenn signed to Monaco and the record was withdrawn as Glenn couldn’t promote it. Chris Waddle recently told me that he preferred the follow up and so did a lot of other of people. The good news is that a great video was shot. It is an exclusive as it was never released. The band format in the video is the same as the “Top of the Pops“ line-up for “Diamond Lights“ - lead guitar, drums,and me on keyboards. “Diamond Lights“ were my late wife’s sparkling eyes.
