ArtScience Late: Uncommon Nonsense – sub:shaman in Wonderland 20 Jun 2019, Thursday | 8pm Expression Gallery, Level 4 Advisory (Some mature content) In June, ArtScience Museum presents a special ArtScience Late programmed as a poetic response to Wonderland, a playful and interactive exhibition based on Lewis Carroll’s timeless stories of Alice and her adventures through Wonderland. With Uncommon Nonsense, sound-makers sub:shaman and visual artist Marc Gabriel Loh present an aural and visual imagining of Alice’s third visit to Wonderland - now much older and disillusioned by what she has seen in the real world. The performance will follow Alice, capturing vignettes of her journey as she re-encounters iconic characters from her visits before, while she tries to reconcile the madness of Wonderland and her experiences outside of it.
