Anonymous Skull’s third offering, release simultaneously with “Cursing the Crimson Fog“, sees this elusive entity almost completely dropping off of Black Metal elements to focus on a more Dungeon Synth approach. Although still maintaining some elements of Deathrock and Post-Punk, this release is a terrific showcase of the projects creative-energy and inventiveness, with some excellent compositions and many varied tones and elements, from the rustic percussions to various samples, that really set this release apart in a genre that is plagued with mediocrity and lack of attention to details.
