A pair of Russian MiG-31BM fighters intercepted a mock enemy over the neutral waters of the Sea of Japan as part of the Ocean 2024 exercise, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The exercises were launched on September 10 and are Russia’s biggest naval drills in 30 years, with more than 400 Russian Navy warships, submarines, and support vessels, along with more than 120 Russian Naval Aviation planes and helicopters.
