A meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council is currently taking place in Tehran amid reports of the death of a Hezbollah leader in an Israeli air strike. Israeli Air Force warplanes launched a series of powerful strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and Beirut itself. The navy also joined in the strikes.
