Liu performs two of the works that made him the judges’ and audience’s favorite in Warsaw: the formidable Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, containing the famous Funeral March; and the sprightly Variations on Mozart’s “Là ci darem la mano,“ guaranteed to leave you with a smile on your face.
