Some say it refers to Naoki Kenji’s versatility and growth as a skillful keyboardist and music producer over the years and his background reflects that versatility. Naoki Kenji comes from a multi-cultural background of German and Japanese descent. By the time he was 5 years of age, Naoki was taking classical piano lessons and writing his first composition. It was during his school attendance in Germany that he became interested in electric guitar and decided to pursue music as a career. His passion for electronic music developed as a result of influence from the Japanese cultural. Naoki Kenji produced his first album [Tozai] in 1999, which had a very swift release in the U.S. However, the album that brought significant attention from music critics and fans for Naoki is his successful 2004 release, “Ecoustic”.
