Pole Lathe Turning and Green Woodworking at RHS Wakehurst Place

A selection of green wood crafts being demonstrated by Sussex and Kent Bodgers including pole lathe turning, bowl turning, bowl adzing, trug and rake making. Members of the Association of Green Woodworkers and Pole Lathe Turners meet up at various venues around the country, and this particular meet was at the Royal Horticultural Society Wakehurst Place, which is home to the Millennium Seed Bank. When we attended this particular event, there was a seed swap in progress, whereby people can swap and share different varieties of seeds. It was a great event with lots of interest from the public on the Saturday. On the Sunday we had a members only session. As you can see in the video some of my friends were making great items, such as rakes, trugs, turned wooden bowls and carved bowls.
