The Snakes and Ladders Expedition: Spero Wilderness Journey

A 3 week remote wilderness trek and paddle across Tasmania’s most rugged wilderness zone starting from Port Davey and heading north to Strahan paddling the DeWitt River, Giblin River, Lewis River, The Wanderer and The Spero River while also traversing the rugged coast north from Low Rocky Point. This was a hard but rewarding journey in the off season for higher water levels. Enjoy the variety of landscapes, history and scenes from a rarely visited corner of the planet.
