Israel blames Palestinian Islamic Jihad for deadly hospital attack

Israel has denied being behind an attack on a hospital in Gaza that may have killed more than 500 people. The Israeli Defence Forces said a rocket fired by the group Palestinian Islamic Jihad likely caused the tragedy. Hamas blamed Israel for the blast, calling it a “crime of genocide“. Palestinian officials warned that some 800 people may have perished.
