Academy awarding winning actor Russell Crowe recognized the unique talent of Turkish superstar actor in 2013 and again in 2018 in an interview and on Twitter. Crowe also praised actor Can Yilmaz and actor/director Yilmaz Erdogan, who chose Kivanc for his film The Butterfly’s Dream which is also streaming on Netflix in North America Kivanc Tatlitug has been a household name in the Middle East for over a decade, and his fame recently spread to North American when his series Kurt Seyit ve Sura and The Butterfly’s Dream was picked up by Netflix.
