Super deep smoothed brown noise can be used for sleeping, relaxing or studying. Brown noise is a softer-sounding alternative to white noise.

With this super deep version, I’ve filtered out even more of the higher-pitched sounds than my previous Deep Smoothed Brown Noise track found here:
When listing to feedback on my other brown noise tracks, sometimes people will suggest that the volume is fading in and out, even though I haven’t put any volume fades in the middle of the track. This is caused by the randomness of the frequencies being produced.
Because of the law of distribution, sometimes a higher amount of lower frequencies will bunch randomly together. Often just for a few seconds. This can create an illusion of the volume dipping when it hasn’t changed at all.
So, to help reduce the impact of this potential distraction, I’ve increased the density of the frequencies being produced. This helps to ensure that each section of the track is filled with a good range of random frequencies. Which helps to give it an even smoother and more consistent sound.

For Sleeping To
The deep and soft sound of random noise is very relaxing and calming to listen to. The visuals in this video gradually fade out to 40% brightness at the 45-second mark. This will help reduce the glare for those people sleeping with the screen on.
For Studying To
White and brown noise sounds are also commonly used while studying to help block out distractions.
How Loud Should The Volume Be?
Adjust the volume to a level you feel comfortable with. It shouldn’t be so loud that it hurts your ears or becomes too distracting.
Brown Noise Can Be Used For:
- Helping you relax or fall asleep
- Block out distracting noise while you’re studying
- Calming and settling nervous and distressed dogs
- Providing relief for tinnitus
Tinnitus Note: If you have tinnitus that is quite high-pitched sounding, you may be better off trying my brown noise track which includes the higher-pitched frequencies:
Do You Need Headphones?
Headphones are optional and not required for this track to work.
No isochronic tones or brainwave entrainment effects have been added to this track.
Recommend Headphones For Sleep
Normal headphones are usually very uncomfortable and impractical to use while sleeping. I’ve had some SleepPhones for over 10 years now and I highly recommend you give them a try.
SleepPhones are specifically designed for use while sleeping, with thin flat speakers that are contained inside a very comfortable headband. You can use them while lying on your side and they also have wireless versions, making them very easy and practical to use.
