The London born pop star on Saturday (28/06) celebrated his 35th a lavish party at one of London’s exclusive restaurants. The star, who made his name with teen idol group Wham!, stipulated a fancy dress party with guests dressed as cowboys or angels. Michael himself came as a cowboy. Other guests included an angelic Geri Halliwell, complete with wings. George’s good friend Kenny Goss turned up but his old mate Elton John was nowhere in sight. Other celebs included tennis aces Pat Cash and Greg Rusedski as well as several members of the recently reformed 1980s pop group Bananarama.
