Happy elderly couple lives in the taiga forest far from civilization. Life in Russian villages Siberian Golendras live in taiga villages of the Irkutsk region. They are descendants of the Golendras, who moved during the Stolypin reform from Volyn (Western Ukraine). Their language is a mixture of Belarusian, Ukrainian and Polish. It is interesting that they have German surnames, in Soviet times they were mistaken for Germans, government services sent intelligence officers to them, and during the Great Patriotic War they were sent to labor camps instead of the military front. The Golendras have a very interesting history, but unfortunately in our time there are few of them left; in total, 2000 Golendras live in the Irkutsk region; they are part of the small peoples of Russia.
