Happily Stained Blanket / Modified Millstone Stitch / Crochet Tutorial

This video is a mix of an up close look at my finished project and a crochet tutorial on the stitch I used to make it, the modified millstone stitch. I’m calling this blanket Happily Stained. Happily comes from the color of yarn I used. It’s Lion Brand Mandala Ombré in the color Happy for the bright colors. I just LOVE this yarn! And Stained because I was wanting to make a blanket to look like stained glass. And for the black I used Red Heart Super Saver in black. Both are a medium 4 weight. In the video I say I used 4 of the ombrés. Buy 5 to be sure. I tossed the ball bands and while I am pretty sure it was 4, I don’t want you to be short on yarn!
