Beijing to lower COVID-19 emergency response level
Beijing will lower the level of its coronavirus emergency response from Level I to Level II starting April 30. China has a four-tier response system for health emergencies, with Level I being the highest. People going to the capital from low-risk areas of China will no longer be required to undergo quarantine, but the requirement will remain in place for international arrivals.
