Part 15 of the Stagea GTR Conversion. In this video I try out a new method and make mistakes so that you don’t have to.
In recap, jointing compound works great as a plug for a one off part like my mx5 fastback roof where the plug is skinned in fiberglass and then the final product is filled and sanded. But for a plug that you intend to make a mould from, jointing compound is far too soft to get good details from and so it’s better to stick with auto body filler.
