The ACT is set to introduce tough new laws that will restrict medical procedures on intersex children - that’s people born with biological sex characteristics that don’t fit a typical male or female body. Advocates say it’s a move in the right direction, and many intersex people have suffered lifelong harm after medical procedures were done without their consent. Jason Om reports.
