Dolphins Learn Foraging Skill “Shelling” from Peers / Curr. Biol., June 25, 2020 (Vol. 30, Issue 15)

Dolphins in Shark Bay, Western Australia, use empty giant gastropod shells to trap prey. Wild et al. integrate genetic, behavioral, and environmental data in a network-based diffusion analysis to show that “shelling” spreads socially among associates.
