Since RC1 was only available for 1 day, and RC2 was still pretty rocky with installer issues, we are doing a third Release Candidate (RC3). Major change from previous RC releases is what we hope is the final installer (save for some upcoming translation updates). Installer testing is the main focus of RC3. (btrfs subvolumes, encrypted or not, preserving home on an existing root partition, etc…). Our uses have been very good and finding problems to be sure, and we think we have them addressed. the debian 12.1 updates are also included. Known issues: Timeshift will not recognize a btrfs partition for snapshots if on an encrypted partition. Feedback for testing should be via forum post according to desktop version downloaded: Xfce KDE/plasma Fluxbox Be sure to include proper system data, including the output of quick-system-info.
