Gustav Leonhardt plays the suite in g minor by d’Anglebert
Gustav Leonhardt recorded this suite in g minor by Jean-Henri d’Anglebert in 1968. Leonhardt plays his two-manual harpsichord by Martin Skowroneck, loosely copied from the 1745 Dulcken instrument in the Smithsonian.
The movements are:
Prélude non-mesuré
(1:30) Sarabande (Lentement)
() Gigue
(7:09) Galliarde (Lentement)
(10:37) Menuet de Poitou
(11:18) Passacaille
This suite also has an allemande and two courantes, but Leonhardt didn’t record them.
