Hand Gesture Methods on the HoloLens 2

This video demonstrates the hand gestures available to new users for manipulating holograms: - Air tap - Touch - Scroll (using air tap and touch) Touch To perform this gesture, you will need to physically move your index finger through the Holographic screen to select the function 1. A floating pointer will appear near the tip of your finger that will help you target your desired selection Air Tap To perform this gesture, you will need to look at an object you wish to interact with, then do the hand movement described below. 1. Hold your dominant hand in a fist out in front of you. Your arm does not need to be fully extended, but your hand should be visible by the cameras in the front of the device. 2. From a fist, extend your thumb and first finger to make an L (or a backwards L depending on what hand you are using). 3. In a single motion, pinch your thumb and first finger together and return them to the L position. Scroll The scrolling gesture allows you to scroll through content on a screen. 1. On HoloLens 2, you can directly scroll using your index finger. Just touch the list with your fingertip and drag upwards or downwards.
