Odd Mine Complex In The Nevada Desert

This was an odd little mining camp with different workings from different eras scattered across the hillsides. Gold and silver were the primary minerals being mined and, given the amount of activity here, there must have been respectable amounts of both. The earliest records of activity at this mine that I could locate went back to the late 1800s and most of the mining activity seems to have taken place between then and the early 1900s. Obviously, there has been more recent activity as well. However, I would characterize the recent activity as more playing around than serious, large-scale mining work. ***** Several kind viewers have asked about donating to help cover some of the many expenses associated with exploring these abandoned mines. Inspired by their generosity, I set up a Patreon account. So, if anyone would care to chip in, I’m under TVR Exploring on Patreon.
