In the first of a trio of five-round fights, Nick Diaz returns to the octagon for the first time in over six years as he takes on Robbie Lawler in a welterweight matchup at UFC 266. The two first met in April 2004 at UFC 47 where Diaz stopped Lawler with punches in the second round. Diaz (26-9) is the older brother of UFC star Nate Diaz, and a pioneer in mixed martial arts. He is a former Strikeforce welterweight champion, and was involved in big fights with the UFC against B.J.
