Driving a pair of miniature shetland mares

These ponies were sent to us to be broken to harness. This film shows us taking them into town for a drive in a busy environment. As they are small, we took them down in our trailer so that they were fresh when meeting the traffic. We put them to in a nearby layby, then drove down the High Street, where we met lots of different vehicles (including a tractor), pedestrians and cyclists. We stop off for a drink to show that the ponies are happy standing still for a long period of time with no groom at their heads, then we head back off to the trailer to take them home.
