’STEAM ON THE ROAD’, August 11th 2019

On the 11th August 2019 I visited the Severn Valley Railway’s ’Steam on the Road’ event. Starting at Bridgnorth I shot the commercial vehicles in the station yard then caught the train for a spirited run to Kidderminster behind 4144. Leaving Bridgnorth 15 minutes late we were almost right time at Kidder. Here, on the station forecourt, were gathered a dozen or so beautiful steam traction engines, steam rollers and some lovely miniatures. At 2-00pm the cavalcade set off down the hill to do a short run on the
