The Man Who Planted Trees

This is a wonderful animation of the fictional short story by the French writer Jean Giono about Elzéard Bouffier, a shepherd who single-handedly reforested a desolate region of France. The acclaimed film was directed by Frédéric Back. This is truly a memorable film.
