Unreal Engine 5 for Beginners: How to Export MP4 Video in 4 Easy Steps
Hey there! In this YouTube video, I’ll show you how to export a simple cinematic scene as an MP4 video in Unreal Engine 5. First, we’ll enable the Movie Render Queue plugin by going to ’Window - Cinematics’ and selecting it. If you don’t have this option, don’t worry, I’ll guide you through enabling it. Once the plugin is activated, we’ll open the Movie Render Queue and select our sequence created with Sequencer. If you’re new to cinematic cameras and Sequencer, check out the link in the description for a helpful tutorial.
Next, we’ll set up the command line encoder by downloading and installing FFmpeg, a free and open-source software. After connecting FFmpeg with Unreal Engine, we’ll specify the codec information and set the output file extension to MP4. Finally, we’ll render our movie, adjusting settings like quality and output resolution. Just hit render and wait for the process to finish.
I hope you find this tutorial helpful! Feel free
