Evolution of Jupiter’s auroral dawn storm spied by Juno spacecraft

An auroral dawn storm is the “early morning brightening unique to Jupiter’s spectacular aurorae,“ according to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The Juno spacecraft captured imagery of the storm with its Ultraviolet Spectrograph instrument.
