This is the brand new Lotus Emira and a very first look to check it out! Join me in the studio to take a full tour around the game changing sports car from the British marque and run through all of the details. Following on the heels from the full EV hypercar, the Lotus Evija, the Emira brings a full update and replacement to the recent models; Elise, Exige and Evora. It also marks the start of a collaboration and technical partnership with AMG to offer the turbo 4-cylinder in a mid-engine position, or alternatively available with the traditional Toyota supercharged V6. The engines will offer between 360 and 400hp with a host of different gearboxes between them; manual, automatic and DCT, with 0-62mph (100km/h) taking less than 4.5 seconds and a top speed up to 180mph (290km/h), with a target lightest weight of only 1,405kg.
