AE86 / AW11 Speed Chime

This is how the speed chime sound is created for the Toyota AE86 and AW11. A simple solenoid with a plunger/hammer. Applying power to the terminals causes a magnetic field to be created within the coil, which forces the plunger to move down and strike the lower plate. Removing power causes the magnetic field to collapse and a spring makes plunger bounce back up and strike the upper plate before finally coming to rest in the middle position again.
