“Here Comes The Man“ was released as a single in 1986 by Boom Boom Room, with Andy Nakanza on lead vocals. I have always thought that this is a great song, and am surprised that it peaked at #74 on the UK Charts, where it spent only one week. In South Africa the song was perhaps a bit more popular - more so as it featured in the TV commercial for Storm deodorant spray for men. In later years it was covered by the Parlotones and appeared on their 2005 album Radiocontrolledrobot. Little is known about the songwriting credits, or the subsequent whereabouts of the band members.
