The Structure of Life: Travelling Levels of Life Organisation Step by Step

Life is endless. But we will try to impose some frames on the levels of its organization. Everything starts with an atom, the smallest part of anything. Atoms bind into molecules, which group together to make organelles. Those little complexes are industrious workers, that make the cell work. Cells are building blocks of life, and we think that they are the smallest units that can be considered alive. Cells themselves group into tissues, which organize into organs. There are 78 organs in our bodies. They perform a very complex job of supporting the lives of our organisms. We organize those 78 types of organs into organ systems. There are eleven of them in humans. But those systems are not the end of evolution. Watch this video to find out more.
