Wasabi Cars — Before the Evolution: 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 RS (E38A)

Sporty Galants have proven very difficult to find for me. Today’s feature car is the first & last “Evo Zero“ Galant VR-4 I’ve ever been up close and personal with. I’m not sure if this one has a rallying past but that’s certainly what it was built for. The RS version missed out on the 4 wheel steering, but was full-time all wheel drive, with 4 wheel independent suspension, and came equipped with 4 wheel ABS. The engine is an intercooled-turbo 4G63 engine, and produced 240 ps.
