Saranac Lake, NY: In Northern NY, USA (Adirondack Mountains) where for 117 years the local people have built a magical ice palace as the centerpiece to their winter carnival. It takes thousands of 600 pound ice blocks cut from the nearby lake to make the structure and ice carvings. It is entirely built with volunteers and local donations. It’s an incredible community effort that everyone is very proud of. Music : Loch Lomond, Song: Wax & Wire .Thanks to B&H photo of NYC
