I feel that the figures come to life when the blinking movement is added. Director Shinohara Kenta: This shoot required 28 hours to shoot. We did something new in our stop motion shoot today. We made Rem’s breasts shake up and down. This effect was added in the retouches. I used up one whole day just to make her breasts shake. ２、Animator Yamanaka Misaki: I wanted the audience to enjoy the character’s expressions, so I was careful of the timing in changing the facial gadgets. In the scene where a cabbage hits Darkness, I made effort in shooting the moment and body angle when it hit her. Director Shinohara Kenta: This shoot actually took 35 hours. We shot about 202 frames. It takes an enormous amount of time to shoot one stop motion film. To make a new stop motion film every week, we must standardize the making process. We must bring to life any kind of character in size, and shape. All our Animist staff are in training every day. ３、Comment by Yamanaka Misaki: To appeal Hachikuji’s cuteness, I arranged the body angle and pose for each shoot. I changed the face gadgets so our viewers would enjoy a variety of expressions. Comment by Director Shinohara Kenta: It took me 22 hours to shoot, 6 hours to edit this stop motion. We shot about 150 frames. In this stop motion, the character’s legs weren’t shown. In this case, there is no leg movement, so the editing process is efficient.
