Make a Pinocchio Puppet I Activities for Children

Ellie shows you how to make a marionette puppet inspired by ’Pinocchio’. This is a craft activity you can do at home, for children ages 5-11. For this activity you will need: a toilet roll tube, an egg box, glue (pritt stick), bottle caps, string, bamboo skewers or twigs, scissors, a pencil, newspaper, coloured paper (or white paper coloured in or painted), a big needle or other sharp object (and an adult to help you with this!). Watch Gilbert Taylor reading ’Pinocchio’ here: Maybe you could act out your own version of the story?
