King Philip and Mary Rowlandson

In 1675, an American Indian by the name of King Philip launched an attack on an English village, triggering a a full scale war that ravaged the New England countryside. Massachusetts settler Mary Rowlandson was taken captive during the war and forced to travel with Philip’s warriors for 11 weeks.
