This was filmed by American ethnographer William Heick in 1950 in Fort Rupert. This a film of the Kwakwaka’wakw at Fort Rupert doing the dance of the secret Hamatsa society.
Fort Rupert is home to the Kwakuitl First Nation (also know as Kwagu’ł)
