Ancient Kingdoms of Arabia

Our tour begins in the Sultanate of Oman, a country of breathtaking natural beauty, interwoven with ancient history and legends. Squeezed between rugged mountains and the shimmering waters of the Arabian Sea, Muscat is a stunning capital and the very essence of old Arabia. We then head to the coastal town of Ras al Hadd ,one of the few nesting places in the world of the giant green sea turtle before moving to the charming town of Nizwa. The tour crosses the Oman/Saudi border and traverses the new road – Highway Empty Quarter - that links Oman and Saudi Arabia via the largest sand desert on earth. The town of Al Hofuf is our 2-night gateway to explore a kingdom that has been closed for decades. Boarding a train we then head to the Saudi capital Riyadh for a two night stay before jumping on a new high speed train that links the capital with Jeddah, on the Red Sea.
