An “Intifada March“ was organized in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, in protest against Israel’s intensive attacks on Gaza and in support of Palestinians.
Representatives and members of human rights organizations from Muslim countries gathered at Jingu Dori Park in the capital’s Chiyoda district.
The crowd moved from the park and marched to Shibuya Crossing, one of the main transportation points of the capital, accompanied by a police cordon.
In the demonstration where Palestinian flags were carried, slogans such as “Down with Israel“, “Ceasefire now“, “Save Gaza“, “Free Palestine from the river to the sea“ were chanted.
The protest called “Intifada March“, which was held under wide security measures, ended without incident.
