Monoplay - One Night

Monoplay’s Album “Nine Lives“ Coming Out July 26 on TrueColors Label Album Link: This album is a collection of tracks that emerged at different times and places, sparked by moments of inspiration or personal stories that unfolded over time. Some of these tracks were influenced by other musicians, such as Thom Yorke, whose impact is evident in the track “Nine Lives.“ Others were inspired by the sound of synthesizers, like my beloved Prophet 5, which I first tried in 2017 at the trueColors Studio with my friend Gene (Inámo) in the heart of New York City. The airy and beautiful sound of the Prophet 5 can be heard at the very beginning of the track “Beyond The Sky.“ I simply recorded the sound and took it with me, and more than six years later, it found its place.
