The CNC Build: Part 2

The design for my CNC machine is based on my friend Jonah’s build which is based on “Joe’s Design.” The basic structure is made from 80/20 aluminum extrusions. The x and y-axis move on rack and pinion gears and the z-axis moves on a screw drive. I built the structure from scratch and bought the motor mounts and z-axis as kits.
