Just Stop Oil protesters spray Stonehenge orange on eve of summer solstice

Just Stop Oil protesters have sprayed Stonehenge orange on the eve of the summer solstice. Two climate activists, named by the group as Niamh Lynch, 21, and Rajan Naidu, 73, defaced the ancient monument near Salisbury at around 11am on Wednesday. Mr Naidu, from Birmingham, said: “The orange cornflour we used to create an eye-catching spectacle will soon wash away with the rain, but the urgent need for effective government action to mitigate the catastrophic consequences of the climate and ecological crisis will not.” Read more here: #jso #stonehenge #activist
