Amphipolis Tomb (mystery solved)

The Amphipolis Tomb (also known as the Kasta or CastaTomb) is an ancient Macedonian tomb discovered in Amphipolis, Central Macedonia, in northern Greece in 2012 and first entered in August 2014. The tomb is dated around 300-325 B.C., and it is the largest burial monument ever discovered in Greece. According to Katerina Peristeri who was the head of the Amphipolis tomb excavation, the monument was a funerary heroon (hero worship shrine) dedicated to Hephaestion, the close companion of Alexander the Great
