EDGE, 2020 | Animated short film, Philipp Teichrieb

Thanks to Ulrich Christian Merckens for composing the epic music and soundeffects! Please watch in 4K :) This is my graduation film called EDGE. It took me about 18 months to make and was my most ambitious project as 3D artist so far. My goal was to create a competent looking fantasy CGI short with cool characters. The story is about a swordsman who is being chased by the Queen of Crows and her gryphon. At last, they confront each other on the edge of a cliff. I made all the visual aspects of the film myself and my friend Ulrich composed the soundtrack. I would be more than happy to read feedback on how I’ve done on this animation!
