Coffee Name | An Awkward Cafe Exchange | Comedy Sketch
A short comedy on racial politics, unconscious bias, and the fear white folk have of causing offense, especially the discomfort they feel saying the word “black“ in front of black people. This comedy sketch was inspired by a barista in Gail’s Bakery asking me for a name for my drink.

We shot versions where the patron was a layman and then a couple where he was a vicar (to clarify he was not being aggressive). No consensus was ever found on which version was best, but the vicar made a bit more sense story-wise an
