My new album, ‘One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1,’ will be released Nov 22. The album news comes after two new songs and a recent tour with Five Finger Death Punch. It was Manson’s first full tour since 2019. In recent years, he has faced legal trouble due to abuse claims from several women. Manson introduced his new band on tour, with old members Tyler Bates on guitar and Gil Sharone on drums, plus new members Reba Meyers from Code Orange and Piggy D, who used to play for Rob Zombie. Bates also helped produce and write the new album. When Manson released the first song ‘As Sick As The Secrets Within’ on August 2, most fans reacted positively. “His voice, the lyrics. He sounds so good!! He’s sober, healthy, and better than ever! I can’t wait to see him next month,” one fan wrote. Another person said, “He honestly has not sounded this good since the early 2000’s in my opinion. This is exactly the sort of songs that made me obsessed with his music, to begin with, and I am taken aback by how emotional this made me.” The same fan added, “Fearing the glory days were over for my favorite artist of all time, an artist that opened my eyes to a whole new world of music, art, and literature, and in some ways helped shape the person I am today, was really affecting me more than I realized until I heard this track and felt this huge feeling of relief over hearing such a solid track from the man himself.” “Music doesn’t make me feel much these days. Congratulations,” one other person added. ‘As Sick As The Secrets Within’ hit Number 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. It’s his second Number 1, with the first being ‘We Are Chaos’ in 2020.
